Summit like it Hot
As a 20-something, 2009 grad successfully keeping my head above the swirling white water rapids of marketing and advertising, I find myself compelled to blog to you some of the reasons that I deserve to go to the 2009 MIMA Summit. To begin I must throw in a MJ quote of "we are the world," and as an up and comer in this new economic times I have learned how to overcome the discouraging talks I recieved everyday during my final year of college. In these talks O was told constantly that no, after all of my hard work, no I was not going to get a job. No matter what. And if I did, it was going to be a lot of hard work to keep it. So I say to you, as one of the kids of the worst times to graduate, as one of those people that came into the workforce where 70% of people weren’t getting jobs, and were told that it just wasn’t going to happen every day, we still learned to try and to listen and learn about how to conquer social media and make it work for us. So with the drudgery this afternoon, maybe I'll be rewarded for my efforts and the efforts of those like me(because I know I'm not alone) by having the advertising god swoop down holding a free MIMA Summit pass and say... have a nice Tuesday.
